Shimono negimichi : In old days, people who works at shrines used to live in town called “Shake Machi” (社家町) and they, Shrine workers(Negi) used to walk this Negi-michi path to get to work.
Shimono negimichi will lead to the second Torii Gate of Kasuga Shrine, 車舎(Kuruma Yadori).

You need to head to the place called “Former Residence of Shiga Naoya(Famous Japanese novelist in Meiji to Showa era), then follow the direction to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Sasayaki no komichi sign.
